AlLTARS Part2 (how to become a deliverer)
Like Gideon, believers must destroy ungodly altars, repent, seek God first, and build godly altars. Overcome fear, sin, and delays through prayer, God's Word, and obedience, trusting Him to bring lasting victory and fulfill His purpose.

“Judges 6:12 ”
Introduction
God raised Gideon to become a deliverer after calling him a 'mighty man of valour.' Before he could deliver Israel, God instructed him to destroy the altar of Baal and build an altar to the Lord. Likewise, believers are called to seek God, remove ungodly influences and establish godly altars.
THINGS AFFECTING CHRISTIANS TODAY
1. Short Success
Some believers experience success that does not last. Remain faithful and obedient to God. Example: King Saul began well but failed through disobedience (1 Samuel 15).
2. Secret Sin
Psalm 66:18: "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me." Example: Achan (Joshua 7).
3. Constant Bad Dreaming
Job 33:14–18 teaches God speaks in dreams. Disturbing dreams should drive believers to prayer and trust in God (Psalm 91:5–6).
4. Sudden Rejection
Example: Joseph was rejected by his brothers before God elevated him (Genesis 37; 41). Psalm 27:10: "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up."
5. Many Unfulfilled Promises
Habakkuk 2:3: "Though it tarry, wait for it..." Example: Abraham waited for Isaac.
6. Generation Fear
A person should overcome the fear of trying to do something. 2 Timothy 1:7: 'For God hath not given us the spirit of fear.' Example: Gideon overcame fear.
In God's eyes everyone has sinned and should repent to be forgiven.
Romans 3:23: 'For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.'
1 John 1:9: 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins...'
FOUR THINGS HOW TO BECOME A DELIVERER (Judges 6:12–13)
1. Seek God First
Matthew 6:33: 'Seek ye first the kingdom of God...'
2. Identify God-Given Strength
God called Gideon 'a mighty man of valour' (Judges 6:12).
3. Identify All Altars Present in Your Home
Examine your home for anything that dishonours God.
4. Destroy Altars Which Are Not Godly
Judges 6:25. Gideon destroyed Baal's altar.
(a) Build a home which benefits everyone, including yourself, through prayer, love and worship.
5. Build a Strong Altar That Belongs to God
Judges 6:26: Gideon built an altar to the Lord.
WEAPONS TO USE
1. Hammer of God
Jeremiah 23:29: "Is not my word like as a fire?... and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?"
Jeremiah 51:20: "Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war..."
2. Fire of God
Jeremiah 23:29: "Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD."
Example: Elijah and the fire from heaven (1 Kings 18:38).
3. Word of God
Hebrews 4:12: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful..." Example: Jesus defeated Satan using Scripture (Matthew 4:1–11).
